The Lab of Life

Speaking – Telling your story?

Whether I am delivering a strategically focused keynote, a motivational speech, or an inspirational talk, my objective is that people leave the experience believing something new about themselves… that they are extraordinary and capable of achieving extraordinary things.

They will come to believe this because during the course of the time we spend together they will have been exposed to a rich, diverse, entertaining and thought provoking blend of the science of human behaviour, the art storytelling, and decades of experience gained from a life well and truly lived.

The catalyst that brings this eclectic perspective to meaningful life is what I call The Hero’s Story and sits at the heart of all my work.

By using stories, anecdotes and humorous observations about our daily habits, idiosyncrasies and behaviours, I bring the truths of how we human beings really work to life in a way that connects with my client’s key messages and enables people to think very differently about themselves and just what it is that they are capable of achieving.

It’s a unique blend that has changed the way people who’ve experienced these sessions think about themselves, their resourcefulness, and their ability to make a difference.

What’s Your Story

“It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury and signifying nothing!” So said Macbeth describing life as a shadow play of futility. Earlier in the same speech he talks of how “all our yesterdays… light the way to dusty death”. Whilst this perspective isn’t...
